Got "A" grades in art in school. Art teacher encouraged him to go to Art college, but he declined.
First actual showing was in a local community-based exhibition in Finglas West, way back in 1978. He contributed "two" sketches!
In 1990 he began to sell portraits and sketches on a purely part time basis and he continued to do this from time to time.
